Petitioner seeks anticipatory bail.

Learned Advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that a property dispute is sought to be passed off as a post-poll violence.

Learned Additional Solicitor General submits that there are statements recorded under Sections 161 and 164 of the Code of Criminal Procedure of the eye-witnesses as squarely implicates the petitioner in the incident of murder.

Considering the gravity of the offence and the involvement of the petitioner therein as transpiring from the materials in the case diary, we are unable to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

Accordingly, the prayer for anticipatory bail of the

petitioner is rejected.

C.R.M. (A) 642 of 2022 is dismissed.
