WPA 2246 of 2024 Sl.No.

04.08.2025 Court No. 35 G.S.Das Haripada Naskar -VsThe State of WB & Ors.

Ms. Rupsha Chakraborty ... for the State respondent(s) Re The petitioner has approached this court being aggrieved by the inaction of the police authorities as, according to him, in T. Ex. 8 of 2017 arising out of T.S.

56 of 2016, no protection was afforded to him.

I have considered the prayers advanced by the petitioner and the information was furnished to the police authorities.

Having considered that substantial time has passed since the police authorities were earlier approached, I direct that if the petitioner is faced with the same inconveniences, he would file a

fresh representation before the concerned Officer-in-charge who will take steps in accordance with law.

As none appears on behalf of the State, Ms. Rupsha Chakraborty, learned advocate, who ordinarily appears on behalf of the State, is directed to appear on behalf of the State. Her appearance may be regularized by the concerned authorities.

With the aforesaid observations, WPA 2246 of 2024 is disposed of.

Pending application(s), if any, is also disposed of.

Parties to act on a server copy of this order duly collected from the official website of the Hon'ble High Court, Calcutta.
