Petitioner submits that he intends to pursue his remedies before the appropriate forum in respect of the bills raised by the WBSEDCL.

The present revisional application was preferred in respect of the order dated January 6, 2021 passed by the learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Contai, Purba Medinipur. In course of hearing of the revisional application, several directions were passed and lastly at the efforts of the learned advocates appearing for the State and the WBSEDCL an assessment was arrived at and the court was informed that the default for the purposes of which the case under the relevant provisions of the Electricity Act commenced Rs.4,06,179.00/-. The case was instituted in the year 2002, 21 years have passed since then.

Petitioner wants to pursue his remedies before the appropriate forum. Accordingly, this court does not find any avenue for granting relief to the present petitioner.

Thus, the revisional application being CRR 236 of 2021 is disposed of.
