Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that petitioner is in custody for about 11 months, charge-sheet has already been submitted and charges have been framed. However, witness action is yet to commence.

Learned advocate for the State opposes the prayer for bail and submits that about sum of Rs. 2,93,000/- was recovered from the in-laws house of the present petitioner and there are other forensic materials appearing against the petitioner. Having considered the stage of the case and witness action is about to commence, at this point of time I am not inclined to release the petitioner on bail.

Accordingly, the prayer for bail of the petitioner in CRM (M) 321 of 2026 is dismissed.
