1. The affidavit-of-service as filed today is taken on record.

2. None appears on behalf of the State despite service. Since Mr. Prashant Kumar Tripathi, learned Advocate is present before this Court, this Court requests Mr. Tripathi to represent the respondents/State in connection with instant case.

3. Department is directed to forward a copy of this order to the Chamber of the Legal Remebrancer, Government of West Bengal, 1st Floor, Writer's Buildings, Kolkata - 700001 with a direction to regularize the appointment of Mr. Prashant Kumar Tripathi, learned Advocate in connection with the instant writ petition.

4. On careful consideration of the entire materials as placed before this Court and after hearing the learned Advocates for the contending parties it appears to this Court that despite filing a RTI application on 22.08.2024 with the District Magistrate, South 24 Parganas the writ petitioners could not get the certified

copy of all the orders in connection with Case No. 01 of 1996 under Section 14T(3) read with Section 2(7) of the West Bengal Land Reforms Act, 1995 from the office of the SDL&LRO, Alipore, District - South 24 Parganas. It is the grievance of the writ petitioner that the certified copies of the said orders are very much required to prefer a statutory appeal.

5. In view of such, this Court while disposing the instant writ petition directs the respondent no. 4/authority to provide certified copy of all orders in connection with the aforementioned case to the writ petitioners upon compliance of all formalities by them positively within 15 working days from the date of communication of the server copy of this order.

6. The time limit as fixed by this Court is mandatory and peremptory.

7. Liberty is given to the learned advocate-on-record for the writ petitioners to communicate the server copy of this order to the respondent no. 4 for his information and immediate compliance.

8. The respondent no. 4 is directed to act on the basis of the server copy of this order.

9. With the aforementioned observation, the instant writ petition being WPA 2486 of 2025 is disposed of.

10. Urgent Xerox certified copy of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties upon compliance of all necessary formalities.
