No one appears for the petitioners and no accommodation is prayed for. The matter was taken up for consideration on four consecutive occasions previously when adjournment was granted either on the ground that the petitioners were not represented or prayer was made on behalf of petitioners due to various reasons.

However, last occasion on 26th September, 2023 the matter was heard when this Court directed to satisfy the query whether petitioners are the owners of the land on which road has been constructed by the Panchayat authorities.

Learned advocate for the petitioners prayed for accommodation to satisfy such query.

Today it appears that no one is representing the petitioners which goes to show that the learned advocate for the petitioners may not have any answer to the query posed to him on the last occasion.

Accordingly, the writ petition stands dismissed. There shall be no order as to costs. Urgent photostat certified copy of the order, if applied for, be given to the parties, upon usual undertakings.
