This revisional application has been filed by the wife in Matrimonial Suit No.1923 of 2015 pending before the learned Additional District Judge, 10th Court at Alipore, District-24Parganas (South). It is the contention of the petitioner that the learned Court below has not proceeded with the suit and the same was earlier adjourned as the parties were sent for reconciliation and thereafter mediation. It is submitted that the reconciliation and mediation failed and the suit has now been fixed for hearing.

Records also reveal that the defendant has prayed for adjournments on various occasions.

Under such circumstances, this revisional application is disposed of with a direction upon the learned Court below to expedite the hearing of the Matrimonial Suit No.1923 of 2015 by concluding the evidence, if the same has not yet been

concluded, and suit should be disposed of within a period of eight months from the date of communication of this order. This Court has not gone into the merits of the case and the learned Court below shall proceed independently without being influenced by any observation made hereinabove. The learned Advocate for the petitioner is directed to serve a copy of this revisional application upon the opposite party as also the learned Advocate appearing in the learned Court below along with a server copy of this order. This revisional application is, thus, disposed of. There will be, however, no order as to costs. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties on priority basis. (Shampa Sarkar, J.)
