The grievance of the petitioner relates to regularization of his appointment to the Triveni Devi Bhalotia College, Purba Burdawan.

Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner refers to a representation made on 17th January, 2022 to the Governing Body of the concerned College requesting for regularization of the petitioner's service.

The State and the U.G.C. are represented but not the concerned College.

Since a question has been raised as to whether the representation has actually been made to the concerned respondents, the petitioner is given liberty to serve the representation dated 17th January, 2022 to the concerned College within four days from today. The

concerned College will deal with and dispose of the said representation by way of passing a reasoned order within four weeks from the date of communication of this order upon hearing all necessary parties including the petitioner and taking into account the relevant laws on the subject. A copy of the reasoned order shall be made available to the petitioner within a week from the date on which such reasoned order is passed. Needless to say, if the petitioner is found eligible for regularization, the concerned College and the other respondents shall take expeditious steps in that respect. W.P.A.2185 of 2022 is disposed of in terms of the above.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be made available to the parties upon compliance with the requisite formalities.
