Learned advocate appearing on behalf of the petitioner produces copy of the communication dated 27th May, 2025 by the Under Secretary (Retired)/Consultant (EZ) addressed to the Deputy Director (Administration) regarding Swatntrata Sainik Samman Yojana case of the petitioner.

In reply thereto, the Under Secretary has been intimated that PPO was originally issued in favour of Radha Rani Samanta and the attested copy of the sanctioned order had been forwarded.

Learned advocate appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that a direction may be passed upon the respondent no.3 to process the pension case of the petitioner.

On perusal of the documents that are already available on record as it appears that the issue of grant of pension is under active consideration of the respondent no.3, accordingly, the instant writ petition is disposed of by directing the aforesaid respondent to process the case of the petitioner and disburse the same if the petitioner is found eligible to receive pension in terms of the Swatntrata Sainik Samman Yojana.

Steps shall be taken in the matter at the earliest but positively within a period of eight weeks from the date of communication of this order. 6.

Letter of the Under Secretary signed on 27th May, 2025 and letter dated 3rd June, 2025 addressed to the Under Secretary from the office of the Director General of Audit, Kolkata filed in Court today is taken on record.

The writ petition stands disposed of.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance of all requisite formalities.
