1. The learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner has tendered a letter of withdrawal dated 7th April, 2026, in the instant case.

2. It is submitted that the petitioner does not wish to prosecute the instant writ petition further and seeks to withdraw the same in view of the availability of an efficacious statutory alternative remedy. It is further submitted that during the pendency of the writ petition an assessment order has already passed by the Assessing Officer and wishes to file an appeal before the Commissioner of Income Tax (Appeal).

3. The copy of the withdrawal letter dated 07.04.2026 be kept on record.

4. In light of the letter dated 07.04.2026 the writ petition is dismissed as withdrawn.
