1. Let affidavit-of-service, as filed in Court, be kept on record.

2. In spite of service, there is no representation on behalf of the school authorities.

3. The petitioner is an Assistant Teacher in Bengali in the Kadra High School since 2008.

4. Petitioner had applied for general transfer on distance ground.

5. Such application has been pending since January, 2026. The school has not taken any decision in the matter.

6. Respondent no. 6 is directed to dispose of the application of the petitioner by April 15, 2026 in accordance with law.

7. The fate of the petitioner's application shall be made known to the petitioner immediately thereafter.

8. Suspension of the Utsashree Portal shall not be impediment for the respondents in taking steps in terms of the order passed hereinabove.

9. With the aforestated directions, the writ petition is, thus, disposed of.

10. There shall, however, be no order as to costs. 11.Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties on usual undertaking.
