Petitioner is aggrieved by the act and actions of the private respondents and alleges that his water supply connections have been disrupted, although, he is owner in respect of a part of the room no. 51, at 16/17 College Street. It has been alleged that with the aid and assistance of local hooligans the private respondents had been successful in threatening others and thereby, vacated the rooms which they have used to their advantage.

Learned advocate appearing for respondent nos. 10, 11 & 12 disputes the contentions and submits that the representation which was advanced before the police authorities are without any foundation or basis and the same is only creating

circumstances to harass the respondents. Learned advocate further submits that they have also ownership in respect of certain rooms of the said property.

Mr. Banerjee, learned advocate appearing for the State has submitted a report which reflects that the said property is within the domain of Muchipara police station and it has been contended that the main problem between the petitioner and the respondents relate to supply of water and all of them are there in the said premises for a considerable period of time.

So far as essential supplies are concerned police authorities would ensure that none of the parties are deprived of essential supplies. Since both the parties are at loggerhead, police authorities would keep a strict vigil and ensure that no breach of the peace and/or tranquility takes place and/or any untoward incident results because of the inimical relationship existing between the parties.

With the aforesaid observations WPA 2511 of 2025 is disposed of.
