Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the WBSEDCL has, in the meantime, mitigated the grievance ventilated in the present writ petition by giving temporary electricity connection to the petitioner for operating her submersible pump.

Learned counsel for the petitioner further submits that the petitioner would like to have a permanent connection.

Accordingly, WPA 2204 of 2022 is disposed of as infructuous, with liberty to the petitioner to apply for permanent electricity connection subject to compliance of formalities regarding the same. If so complied, the

WBSEDCL shall give such permanent connection to the petitioner, if otherwise feasible.

However, since it is submitted by learned counsel for the Distribution Licensee that he is not equipped with any copy of the writ petition, the learned Advocate appearing for the petitioner is requested to hand over a fresh photocopy of the same to his counterpart appearing for the WBSEDCL during the course of the day. There will be no order as to costs.

Urgent photostat copies of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties upon compliance of all requisite formalities.
