The petitioner's present school is within 25 kms from her residence. Therefore, according to the respondents she cannot make any application under the General Transfer Rules even on special ground for transfer to another school.

However, I send this matter to the District Inspector of Schools to consider the case of transfer of the petitioner after hearing the school and the petitioner within a period of four weeks from date and to pass a reasoned order by two weeks thereafter with copy to the petitioner and the school.

The District Inspector of Schools will consider the case of the petitioner in accordance with law.

The matter is disposed of.

Affidavit of service filed in court today is kept on record.
