Mr. Suubhrajyoti Ghosh .....For the petitioner Mr. T. M. Siddiqui Ms. Nilofer Alam Siddiqui .....For the State Petitioner has approached this Court to obtain renewal of his mining lease for excavation of sand from plots 45, 124, one situates in Mouza - Chhalacan and one in Mouza - Nischintapur. Admittedly, the petitioner's mining lease expired some time in the year of 1999 and it is only after 20 years the petitioner has approached this Court.

Considering the inordinate delay in filing of the writ petition, this Court is unable to entertain the prayer of the petitioner. Accordingly, the writ petition WPA 1577 of 2020 stands rejected.

Since the State respondents are not called upon to file any affidavit, the allegations made against them in the writ petition, if any, shall be deemed to have been admitted.
