He alleges that the Station Manager of the Katwa Customer Care Centre has unlawfully disconnected the electricity connection to the said pump set.

The learned advocate appearing on behalf of the West Bengal State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (WBSEDCL) submits that the petitioner is not a registered consumer, as the connection stands in the name of the petitioner's deceased father. It is further submitted that an outstanding amount of ₹4,00,000 is due on account of electricity consumption.

In light of the aforementioned facts, the petitioner is granted liberty to submit a representation before the Regional Grievance Redressal Officer, Burdwan, seeking reconnection of the electricity supply to the pump set, within two weeks from the date of this order. If such a representation is submitted, the same shall be considered by the Regional Grievance Redressal Officer,

Burdwan, strictly in accordance with law, after affording an opportunity of hearing to both the petitioner and a representative of the West Bengal State Electricity Distribution Company Limited.

The entire exercise shall be completed by the Regional Grievance Redressal Officer, Burdwan within one month from the date of receipt of the representation. Accordingly, WPA 2576 of 2025 stands disposed of. Urgent certified website copies of this order, if applied for, be made available to the parties upon compliance with the requisite formalities.
