Pursuant to the order of this Court dated 3rd February, 2023, Mr. Ghosh has placed instruction issued by the Assistant Commissioner of Revenue, State Tax, Barrachpore Charge, dated 6th February, 2023, which indicates the calculation of tax and interest to be paid by the petitioner as a condition for restoration of his registration.

Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that petitioner is ready and willing to pay the amount so indicated in the aforesaid instruction, subject to adjustment with the amount which petitioner is entitled under the law.

Respondent authorities concerned shall open the portal for a period of 30 days from the date of communication of this order to enable the petitioner to

make payment of the tax and interest as indicated in the aforesaid instruction dated 6th February, 2023, subject to any adjustment in accordance with law and also to enable the petitioner to file return. If petitioner fails to make the payment within the time stipulated herein, the respondent authorities concerned shall be entitled to block the portal again and to take action against the petitioner in accordance with law.

Instruction filed by Mr. Ghosh dated 6th February, 2023 be kept with the record.

With this observation and direction, this writ petition being WPA 2326 of 2023 is disposed of. (Md. Nizamuddin, J.)
