1. Let affidavit-of-service, as filed in Court, be kept on record.

2. In spite of service, none appears on behalf of the school authorities.

3. The petitioner is an Assistant Teacher in Geography at Mayta High School (H.S.), Paschm Medinipur.

4. The petitioner has made an application for transfer on own seeking on distance ground. The said application is pending.

5. The respondent no. 6, Head of the Institution, is directed to consider such application and if

satisfied, shall issue the requisite 'NOC' and forward the same to the concerned D.I., respondent no. 5 herein, by April 15, 2026.

6. The concerned D.I. will take all consequential steps to expedite the matter in accordance with the Transfer Rules preferably within a period of four weeks from receipt of the application and the requisite 'NOC' from the school authorities.

7. The suspension of 'Utsashree Portal' will not be an impediment for the concerned authority to consider the application for transfer of the petitioner. The same shall be considered in an offline mode.

8. With the aforestated directions, the writ petition is, thus, disposed of.

9. There shall, however, be no order as to costs. 10.Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties on usual undertaking.
