Instructions of the District Inspector of Schools (SE), North 24 Parganas and the affidavit-of-service filed in Court today be taken on record.

The petitioner's application for transfer was considered and processed.

It is submitted by the Counsel for the District Inspector of Schools (SE), North 24 Parganas that there was no willing teacher to come and teach Physics in the School where the petitioner is presently posted. Mr. Ray, Counsel for the petitioner, submits that there is absolutely no student for physics subject in the Higher Secondary Section where the petitioner is designated to teach the said subject.

On the contrary, it is submitted that there are large numbers of other physics student in one of the Schools chosen by the petitioner, namely, Ashoknagar

Boys Secondary School. It is further submitted that no physics teacher in the said School.

In that view of the matter, this Court directs the District Inspector of Schools (SE), North 24 Parganas to consider the petitioner's application for transfer and process the same by a reasoned order within a period of three weeks from date.

With the aforesaid directions, the instant writ petition shall stand disposed of.

There will be no order as to costs.
