It is further submitted there is no direct evidence connecting him with the murder.

Learned Advocate for the State opposes the prayer for bail. We have considered the materials on record. Petitioner was last seen with the victim. On his leading statement, dead body was recovered. There are other incriminating materials implicating the petitioner in the crime. In view of the aforesaid facts and gravity of the offence, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner at this stage. The application for bail is thus rejected.
