The matter relates to a school which stands in the same footing with the schools run by Ramkrishna Mission, Belur Math. Some benefits relating to transfer of teachers of the school run by the Ramkrishna Mission, Belur Math has been given by the Government very recently. In this regard, one order has also been recorded by this Court on 13.01.2022 in WPA 15101 of 2021. The petitioner prays that similar benefits may be granted to this school namely Margaret (Sister Nivedita) English School, Pradhan Nagar, Siliguri which is a branch of Ramkrishna Vedanta Math of 19A & B, Raja Rajkrishna Street, Kolkata-700006.

However, as the Government has not taken any decision in respect of this school though it stands in the same footing with the Ramkrishna Mission

Schools, I direct the petitioner to submit one representation immediately to the Secretary of the School Education Department and the Secretary will take a decision in respect of the representation within a period of four weeks from the date of receiving the representation along with a copy of this order after giving an opportunity of hearing to the concerned members of the Managing Committee, who may also be represented through their learned advocate as to extension of the same benefit to this school namely Margaret (Sister Nivedita) English School, Pradhan Nagar, Siliguri.
