1. Let affidavit-of-service, as filed in Court, be kept on record.

2. In spite of service, none appears on behalf of the school authorities.

3. The petitioner is a non-teaching staff. He had applied for transfer on general ground. The application has, however, been kept pending by the school authorities since 2021. Since a long time has lapsed since the application was made in 2021, the petitioner is directed to file a fresh application in the prescribed form with the school authorities by April 15, 2026.

4. The school authorities will consider the same and expedite the onward progression by sending such

application to the concerned District Inspector of Schools(S.E.), Paschim Medinipore, if he is otherwise eligible.

5. Since the 'Utsashree Portal' is suspended, the application will be made in the offline mode and be considered by the school and other authorities in the offline mode.

6. With the aforestated directions, the writ petition is, thus, disposed of.

7. There shall, however, be no order as to costs. 8.Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties on usual undertaking.
