Mr. Kazi Sajjad Alam, Mr. Sayan Roul .....for the petitioner Mr. Raja Saha, Mr. Shamim ul Bari ...for the State Dr. Sutanu Kr. Patra, Mr. Sunit Kr. Roy ...for the WBCSSC The petitioner has applied for transfer from Bamshore High School, Purba Burdwan to any other school in Hooghly.

The petitioner's first application was rejected on the ground that there was only one teacher in Arabic subject in the said school. The petitioner applied afresh thereafter, based on a circular dated September 22, 2021, being Memo No. 66 (25)-CSE/2021. The said application is still pending with the Head of the Institution.

Counsel for the petitioner further submits that the school has already forwarded the same to the D.I. of Schools (SE).

Be that as it may, in the event such application has been forwarded to the D.I. of Schools (SE) by the Head of the Institution, the

D.I. of Schools shall take immediate steps in terms of the Memo dated September 22, 2021 as notified on 3rd January 2022, within 6 weeks from date. A reasoned order may be passed and put upon the concerned portal The Head of School shall, if necessary, forward afresh a copy of the petitioner's application to the D.I. of Schools for the aforesaid purpose immediately upon receipt of a copy of this order.

With the aforesaid observations, the instant writ petition shall stand disposed of.

The order dated May 8, 2022 is taken on record.

There shall be no order as to costs.

All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
