Petitioner submits they are transporter and had paid fees for transporting sand. Accordingly, he prays for anticipatory bail. 2.

Learned Counsel for the State submits report. 3.

We have considered the materials on record. Petitioner is the transporter of the vehicle. He allowed the vehicle to be used for transportation of sand which is illegally mined. E-challans relied by the petitioner are of little help. It would not cover the transportation of sand illegally mined from areas where mining is not permitted. Offence of illegal mining is an organized crime activity which affects the ecology and endangers life. 4.

In light of the prima facie involvement of the petitioner in illegally transporting sand, we are not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
