Mr. Madhusudan Mandal Mr. Bimal Sil ... for the petitioner Mr. Raja Saha Mr. Biswabrata Basu Mallick ... for the State It appears from the Office Order dated 26th February, 2021 that the application of the petitioner for transfer was allowed and he was transferred to Fultala Rashbehari Halder Smriti Free Primary School. He was instructed to join within 25th March, 2021 and he was directed to report to the respective Sub-Inspector of Schools.

The allegation of the petitioner is that even though the order of transfer was issued in his favour but the release order was not issued, in view of which he could not join the transferee school.

The petitioner has not annexed any document to show that he approached the authority for issuance of the release order within the time as mentioned in the Office Order dated 26th February, 2021. The petitioner applied before the respondent authority for issuance of the

release order in January, 2022, long after the time fixed for joining the transferee school has expired. At this stage, the petitioner cannot get the benefit of the order of transfer issued in his favour way back in February, 2021. It will be open for the petitioner to apply in the dedicated portal for transfer if occasion so arises. W.P.A. 2251 of 2022 stands disposed of.
