Heard learned Advocates for the parties.
2.
Petitioner submits she is not the principal accused. She did not collect money from the villagers. Accordingly, she prays for anticipatory bail.
3.
Learned Lawyer for the State opposes the prayer. 4.
We have considered the materials on record.
Petitioner had colluded with one Ujjal Barman and induced poor village women to part with money on the promise of higher returns. Thereafter, the monies were misappropriated. Investigation reveals misappropriation to the tune of Rs. 12,00,000/-. 5.
Petitioner's custodial interrogation is necessary to recover the stolen amount.
6.
Under such circumstances, we are not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
7.
Accordingly, the application for anticipatory bail is, thus, rejected.
