Upon hearing learned counsel appearing for the parties, the writ petition may be disposed of with a direction on the Regional Transport Authority, Paschim Bardhaman being respondent no.2 to dispose of the application for curtailment of the Stage Carriage Permit, which was made by the petitioner on 13th December, 2021.

The concerned R.T.A. shall dispose of the same within two weeks from the date of communication of this order by passing a reasoned order after hearing all concerned parties including the petitioner in accordance with the relevant statutory provisions. A copy of the reasoned order shall be given to the petitioner within a week from the date such reasoned order is passed.

W.P.A.2261 of 2022 is disposed of in terms of the above.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be made available to the parties upon compliance with the requisite formalities.
