Ct. No.17 WPA 2359 of 2023 g.b.

Kamdeb Mahato Vs.

The State of West Bengal & Ors.

Mr. Ivan Roy Mr. Debangshu Bandhu ......For the Petitioner Mr. Biswabrata Basu Mallick .......For the State Mr. B. P. Vaisay Mr. Nilay Baran Mandal .......For the DPSC, Purulia The petitioner's father expired in 2004 who was a primacy school teacher. The petitioner's mother filed one application in 2005 for the elder son being the petitioner for any suitable post when the petitioner would be a major. The petitioner became major in the year 2011. Therefore, the family withstood the initial crisis and definitely tied over the crisis in the last seven years from the date of attaining the majority of the petitioner. Therefore, this application cannot be entertained.

However, the petitioner attained majority in 2011 and the writ application has been filed in 2023, that is after 12 years. This is a died-in-harness category and the petitioner wants consideration of his

prayer by this court.

After such a long time such types of prayers cannot be entertained and I will not exercise my jurisdiction this matter.

The writ application is dismissed.

There shall be no order as to costs.
