The petitioner's grievance is that he is falling short of three months in computation of the eligibility period for granting him pension. He is an ExSecretary/Gram Sevak of Gopalpur-II Gram Panchayat under Haroa Development Block.

It is submitted that the petitioner's request for condonation of three months shortage for eligibility of pension is now pending before the Commissioner, Panchayat & Rural Development Department, Government of West Bengal.

In those circumstances, the Secretary of Panchayat & Rural Development Department, Government of West Bengal shall dispose of the petitioner's request, within a period of three months from the date of communication of a copy of this order. The decision of the Secretary, Panchayat & Rural Development Department, Government of West

Bengal may be communicated to the petitioner within ten days thereafter.

With the aforesaid directions, the instant writ application shall stand disposed of.

There will be no order as to costs.

All parties are directed to act on a server copy of this order on usual undertakings.
