IN THE HIGH COURT AT CALCUTTA

Criminal Miscellaneous Jurisdiction 22-12-2021 Subha Item no.

C.R.M 620 of 2007 (Via video-conference) In Re: An application for cancellation of bail filed under Section 439(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.

In the matter of : Azmira Begam. .....petitioner. Mr. S. G. Mukherji, ld PP, Ms. Manisha Sharma ...for the State.

The present application for cancellation of bail was filed in connection with Domjur Police Station Case No. 276 of 2006 dated 09.11.2006 in respect of an order of interim bail granted by the learnd Chief Judicial Magistrate, Howrah on 18.11.2006. The said order was subsequently extended.

Ms. Sharma, learned advocate who ordinarily appears on behalf of the State is directed to appear in this matter. Her appointment may be regularized by the concerned authorities in due course. Having regard to the period of time which has elapsed in the meantime, I am of the opinion that no interference is called for by this court at this belated stage.

Accordingly, the present application for cancellation of bail being CRM 620 of 2007 is dismissed.

All concerned parties are to act in terms of a copy of this order downloaded from the official website of this court. [Tirthankar Ghosh, J]
