An adjournment is sought by the petitioner.

However, in view of the absolutely fair stand taken by learned ASG appearing on behalf of the respondent authorities, the matter is taken up for hearing.

The petitioner prays for family pension under the Swatantrata Sainik Samman Pension Scheme.

Learned ASG submits that the respondent authorities have carried out necessary scrutiny and PPO has been already sanctioned.

Hence, there is no bar in disbursing the family pension in favour of the petitioner.

Such fair stand on the part of the respondent authorities is appreciated.

WPA 2356 of 2024 is, accordingly, disposed of by directing the respondent nos. 8 and 9 to ensure that the petitioner's family pension is started to be disbursed in terms of her representation annexed at page-62 the writ petition at the earliest, preferably within three weeks from date.

There will be no order as to costs.

Urgent photostat copies of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties upon compliance of all requisite formalities.
