Addl. Sessions Judge, Fast Track, 1st Court, Barasat, North 24 Parganas.

It has been informed that the next date is fixed on 26th of February, 2024. The appeal is under section 29 of the PWDV Act preferred at the instance of the o.p./husband. Having considered that almost three years have expired since the admission of the appeal, I direct the ld. Appellate Court to dispose of the appeal within one month of the next date i.e. 26th of February, 2024.

The ld. Appellate Court would be at liberty to fix dates, as it feels fit and proper, for hearing of the appeal and will not stretch the timeline fixed by this court. With the aforesaid observations, CRR 448 of 2024 is disposed of.
