Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner was falsely implicated.

Learned Additional Public Prosecutor draws that attention of the Court to the materials in the case diary. He submits that not only the eyewitnesses name the petitioner as the person involved in the incident, but also the video footage implicates the petitioner.

Considering the gravity of the offence and the involvement of the petitioner therein as transpiring from the materials available in the case diary, we are not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

Prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner is rejected. CRM(A) 678 of 2022 is dismissed.
