Mr. Sukanta Das ......For the Petitioner This application under Article 227 of the Constitution of India is at the instance of the plaintiff in a suit for eviction under the West Bengal Premises Tenancy Act, 1997 praying for expeditious hearing of the Other Suit No. 248 of 2012.

From the order-sheets appended to this civil revision application it appears that 2nd of April, 2025 has been fixed for ex parte hearing of the suit.

In view of the order sought and proposed to be passed, there is no necessity to direct issuance of notice upon the opposite party. However, the learned advocate for the petitioner shall be obliged to forward a copy of this application, along with a copy of this order, upon the opposite party or his learned advocates representing him before the learned trial Court.

Since the suit has been fixed for ex parte hearing, CO 369 of 2025 is disposed of by requesting the learned Civil Judge (Junior Division), 2nd Court, Paschim Medinipur to dispose of Other Suit No. 248 of 2012 as expeditious as

possible preferably by December, 2025 without granting any unnecessary adjournment to either of the parties. There shall be no order as to costs.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties after completion of all necessary formalities.
