Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that the petitioner has been falsely implicated in this case. It was alleged that although there was a relationship between the petitioner and the alleged victim, the petitioner refused to marry her. The petitioner apprehends that if he goes to the State of Maharashtra to take necessary steps seeking relief before the Courts of law, he may be prevented from doing so.

Learned Public Prosecutor representing the State submits that the prime allegation against the petitioner is about not keeping his promise to marry, although he had entered into a physical relation on such promise.

Considering the above and the other materials available from the report filed today, the application for transit anticipatory bail is allowed.

The petitioner shall not be arrested for six weeks from this date. Within such a period of six weeks, the petitioner shall be at liberty to seek appropriate relief from the Courts in the State of Maharashtra including praying for anticipatory bail.

With these observations, the application for transit anticipatory bail is disposed of.
