According to learned counsel appearing for the alleged contemnor, the delay for hearing the petitioner was due to petitioner giving the wrong address and not being available at the address given in the cause title. It is submitted that the alleged contemnor has passed a reasoned order pursuant to the hearing given.

According to learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, the petitioner retired on 28th February, 2022 and there has been a delay on the part of the respondent authority to give the hearing.

After hearing learned counsel, this Court is of the view that since a reasoned order has already been passed, the petitioner will be

required to challenge the reasoned order if the petitioner so wishes. Nothing further remains in the contempt petition.

CPAN 122 of 2022 in WPA 14358 of 2021 is disposed of in terms of the above.

The instruction handed-up by the learned counsel appearing for the alleged contemnor is kept on record.
