Ms. Sujata Das Ms. Debjani Sahu ...for the State.
None appears on behalf of the petitioner, at the time of call. On January 29, 2007 when the matter was taken up by this Court at the first instance, directions have been given upon the petitioner to file affidavit-of-service within a period of four weeks. No such affidavit-of-service is on record.
Fourteen years have passed since filing of this Criminal revisional application and no steps have been taken up by the petitioner. In the light of the same, I am of the view that the petitioner is no longer interested in pursuing this lis. Accordingly, the revisional application is dismissed for default.
The concerned department is directed to communicate the order passed in Court today to the Court below. The department shall ensure that acknowledgement of receipt of their communication is received. Report of compliance to be placed before this Court after three weeks.
