Petitioner seeks bail.

Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody for more than 18 months. The evidence of the victim is over.

Learned advocate appearing for the State draws the attention of the Court to the materials in the case diary. Considering the gravity of the offence and the involvement of the petitioner therein and considering the fact that trial is at crucial stage, we find it not advisable to grant bail to the petitioner.

Accordingly, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is rejected.

C.R.M. (DB) 408 of 2022 is dismissed.
