Petitioner complains of police inaction.

Learned advocate appearing for the State submits that the police treated two complaints as FIRs and on completion of investigation, submitted the charge-sheet in respect thereof. The subsequent complaint was enquired into and a prosecution under Section 107 of the Cr.P.C. was filed. He submits that, the police on enquiry learnt that there are civil disputes between the private parties relating to an immovable property.

Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that, even the D.L.L.R.O. stated the Record of Rights stands in the name of the petitioner.

Record of Rights are not documents of title.

Apparently there are disputes between the private parties relating to an immovable property.

The police acted on the basis of complaints received. Further interference by the writ court is not called for.

W.P.A. 2891 of 2021 is disposed of accordingly. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be made available to the parties upon compliance with the requisite formalities.
