The petitioner is the Assistant Teacher at a school under District Primary School Council, Purba Bardhaman. The petitioner is not getting 'A' category scale of pay for not having six months Bridge Course from a recognized institution though she has B.Ed. as her training qualification. Mr. Anindya Bose, learned advocate for the petitioner submits that similarly placed teachers have been given the benefit of 'A' category scale of pay.

He prays that the issue may be relegated to the Commissioner of School Education, Government of West Bengal, the respondent no. 3 herein, for consideration.

The respondent no. 3 is directed to consider the prayer of the petitioner for 'A' category scale of pay in accordance with law and to facilitate such consideration, the petitioner is directed supply the complete copy of the writ petition to the respondent no. 3. WPA 2541 of 2025 is disposed of with the above terms without any order as to costs.

Since no affidavit has been invited, the allegations made in the writ petition are deemed to have been denied by the respondents. Parties to act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
