1. Report of the Inspector-in-Charge, Lake Town Police Station dated 24th March, 2025 has been placed before this Court. It appears therefrom that, in response to the complaint filed by the petitioners a police case was initiated and an investigation was conducted which ended in a final report being Lake Town PS FRT No. 64/2023 dated 27th April, under Sections 419/420/406/120B IPC and the same was submitted before the learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Bidhannagar on 7th December, 2023.

2. The petitioners filed a Narazi petition. Dates for hearing the Narazi petition were fixed on 16th January, 2024, 9th May, 2024 and 23rd August, 2024 but the petitioners remained absent and next date of hearing has been fixed on 1st May, 2025.

3. According to the bank, the petitioners were negligent in passing on the details of the bank to the unknown caller

and are currently trying to sue the bank for return of the loss suffered by her.

4. As it appears that, the petitioners have already expressed their dissatisfaction with the investigation and the Narazi petition filed by the petitioners is pending consideration before the learned Trial Court, accordingly, it will be open for the petitioners to take necessary steps before the Court where the matter is currently pending.

5. The writ petition stands disposed of.
