Heard learned Advocates for the parties.

We have considered the materials on record. Though injury is on the face of the victim, the same does not appear to be life threatening. Incident occurred in the course of a sudden quarrel and without pre-meditation.

Under such circumstances, we are inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioners subject to conditions. 4.

Accordingly, we direct that in the event of arrest, the petitioners viz., (1) Gopal Chandra Mondal @ Gopal Mondal and (2) Joytsna Mondal @ Jyotsna Bairagya be released on bail upon furnishing a bond of Rs.10,000/- each, with two sureties of like amount each, to the satisfaction of the Arresting Officer and also subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 482(2) of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 and on further condition that the petitioner no. 1 viz., Gopal Signed By :

Chandra Mondal @ Gopal Mondal shall meet the Investigating Officer once in a week until further orders. They shall appear before the jurisdictional court and pray for regular bail within four weeks from date.
