Report submitted by the learned advocate appearing for the State be also kept with the record. A copy of the report be handed over to the learned advocate appearing for the petitioner.

The petitioner claims that he is in possession of the property which is being interfered by third parties in spite of direction passed by the Hon'ble Supreme Court. To that effect, notices have been issued by the BL&LRO, Monteswar and in spite of the same, the private respondents are creating unnecessary interference with the peaceful enjoyment of the property of the petitioner and the police authorities being informed, they are not taking appropriate steps for restoring peace and tranquility.

State has submitted a report which reflects that the son of the petitioner on 17.01.2025 verbally informed the police authorities that despite the BL&LRO having issued notice upon the private

respondents to vacate the schedule plots, the private respondents are forcefully occupying and threatening the petitioner.

So far as the proceeding before the BL&LRO, Monteswar is concerned, the said BL&LRO will take steps in accordance with law.

So far as the police authorities are concerned, they are duty bound to maintain law and order. If there is any interference, disturbance and/or harassment at the behest of the private respondents herein, in that that case the police authorities would ensure that there is no breach of the peace or tranquility taking place and/or any untoward incident resulting because of the inimical relationship existing between the petitioner and the private respondents.

With the aforesaid observations, the writ petition being WPA 2676 of 2025 is disposed of. There will be no order as to costs.

All concerned parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
