Santra ...for the State Ms. Shebatee Datta, Ms. Babita Dey ....for the respondent no. 6 The Nischinda Police Station has filed a report dated March 28, 2023, which is taken on record. Each and every one of the petitioner's complaint, addressed to the Nischinda Police, the Commissioner of Police, Howrah Police Commissionerate from 2019 onwards have been enquired into. The police have found on each enquiry that the petitioner's statements are inconsistent and vague and the allegations baseless. It appears to this Court that the petitioner is aggrieved by an eviction decree and execution thereof by the Civil Court. The petitioner and her father were evicted from a premises pursuant to a decree of the said Civil Court and hence by due process of law.

In so far as the missing articles are concerned, none of the documents annexed to the writ petition indicate details of particulars of such articles. Counsel for the petitioner has also not indicated to this Court any details of such articles since he has not received any information from his client.

This Court finds that the allegations of the petitioner are completely baseless and devoid of merit. The writ petition is dismissed with a warning to the petitioner to desist from such wild allegations against the police officials.

This Court, however, appreciates the sincere effort put in by the counsel engaged by the High Court Legal Services Authority.

There shall be no order as to costs.
