The writ petition has been preferred by the 18.02.2025 Court No. 35 Item No.23 Rakib petitioner being aggrieved by the inaction of the police authorities to the extent that inspite of receiving the information furnished by way of a communication dated 7.12.2023, no steps have been taken.

State has submitted a report being prepared by Inspector-in-charge, Karimpur Police Station. Report reflects that the dispute is in respect of a land. Police authorities have hardly any role to play until and unless the right, title and interest are interfered by Civil Court. Having considered the aforesaid and the police authorities having stayed their hands away relating to the right, title and interest of the property which is the domain of the Civil Court, I direct that as the petitioners and the private respondents are in a strained relationship, police authorities would keep surveillance and ensure that there is no breach of the peace and/or tranquility and/or any untoward incident resulting

because of the inimical relationship existing between the petitioners and the private respondents.

With the aforesaid observations WPA 2453 of 2024 is disposed of.

Report submitted by the State be kept with the record.

Copy of the report be handed over to both the parties.

All concerned parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
