Liberty is granted to the learned Advocate-on-record of the petitioner to correct the cause title of the petition. 2.

Heard the learned Advocates for the parties.

We have considered the materials on record. Civil suit is pending between the parties. Petitioner is a nonagenarian. Credibility of the allegations levelled against him has to be assessed in light of the aforesaid circumstances including the petitioner's age at the appropriate stage of the proceeding. 4.

Hence, we are inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

Accordingly, we direct that in the event of arrest, the petitioner viz., Chhepatullah Molla be released on bail upon furnishing a bond of Rs.10,000/-, with two sureties of like amount each, to the satisfaction of the Arresting Officer and also Signed By : ALOK SETH High Court of Calcutta 14 th of February 2025 02:49:26 PM

subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 482(2) of the BNSS. He shall appear before the jurisdictional court and pray for regular bail within four weeks from date. 6.
