It appears from the said report that the Investigating Officer in the said case has been changed. A new Investigating Officer has taken up the investigation. The husband of the deceased has been arrested and has been enlarged on bail. Statements under Sections 161 and 164 have been recorded. The statement of the Autopsy Surgeon has also been recorded.
In that view of the matter, this Court is satisfied with the progress of the investigation. It is, however, directed that the investigation be completed as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of one month from the date of communication of a copy of this order. Copy of the
final report may be made available to the counsel for the petitioner for taking appropriate steps, if so advised.
With the aforesaid observations, the writ petition shall stand disposed of.
There shall be no order as to costs.
The report of the Salar Police Station dated 04.04.2022 is kept with the record.
All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
