The petitioner claims that his daughter Rina Haldar has been intimidating, threatening, torturing and beating him to transfer the house in question in her favour.

On the petitioner's complaint addressed to the S.D.O., Tehatta, Nadia, Tehatta Police has registered a FIR, which has resulted in a charge sheet being Tehatta Police Station Charge Sheet No.299/2022 dated 16th May, 2022 under Section 327 of the IPC. The daughter surrendered in the Court below and has been enlarged on bail.

In the event there is further threat or intimidation or assault on the petitioner, he may complain to the Tehatta Police Station.

The Tehatta Police shall, thereafter, immediately apply for cancellation of bail granted to Rina Haldar.

The Inspector-in-Charge, Tehatta Police Station, Nadia shall warn Rina Haldar against any misbehavior towards the writ petitioner. Tehatta Police shall continue to maintain regular vigil on the said premises.

With the aforesaid directions, the writ petition shall stand disposed of.

There shall be no order as to costs.

The report dated 13th February, 2023 issued by the Inspector-in-Charge, Tehatta Police Station is taken on record.

All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
