Railway Police, Sealdah is personally present. In the affidavit of compliance, a modified letter of appointment has been annexed, being Memo No. 2536/E(HC) dated 28th November, 2022. In the modified letter of appointment, it is stated that the phrase, "The appointment is purely temporary and may be terminated at any time giving one month notice" mentioned in the earlier letter dated 22nd November, 2022 shall stand deleted. In the said letter it is stated that the appointment is done on regular basis.
In view of the aforesaid modification in the appointment letter, the affidavit of compliance with apology, is accepted. The compliance report is taken on record.
The contempt proceeding is disposed of.
Rule stands discharged.
In Re: WPCRC 169 of 2022 Sri Partha Pratim Sinha, Superintending Engineer, Eastern Circle, P.W.Dte, is personally present.
It appears from the Office Order dated 29th November, 2022, the earlier appointment letter dated 16th November, 2022 was modified by excluding the phrase "on temporary basis". The modified letter dated 29th November, 2022 is disclosed at page 7 of the affidavit of compliance, being Memo No. 55 dated 29th November, 2022 duly signed by the Superintending Engineer, Eastern Circle, P.W.Dte.
In view of the aforesaid modification in the appointment letter, the affidavit of compliance with apology, is accepted. The compliance report is taken on record.
The contempt proceeding is disposed.
Rule stands discharged.
