Banerjee) Mr. Kamakshya Prasad Mukhopadhyay ... for the petitioner Mr. Arjun Roy Mukherjee Ms. Supriya Dubey ... for the State The petitioner filed an application for being considered for MR dealership in respect of a vacancy notified by the Sub-Divisional Controller, Food and Supplies, Berhampore. He wanted to be a dealer in respect of serial number 23 of the vacancy list, i.e., for Chatumara under Bali-II GP. For this purpose he filed an application which was received by the concerned office on 8th March, 2019.

The grievance of the petitioner is that though the said vacancy in MR dealership is still existing, his application has neither been considered nor he has been intimated anything about this. The petitioner prays for consideration of his application which is Annexure P-2 at page 14.

Learned advocate for the respondent no. 3 submits that they are willing to consider the said application.

In such facts and circumstances, I direct the respondent no. 3 to consider the said application of the petitioner within a period of 12 weeks from date and to pass a reasoned order and to communicate the same by two weeks after taking such decision.

With the direction, the writ application is disposed of.
